Lovin’ Lamb Burwood – Signature Lamb Skewers

We can all agree that lamb skewers from any cultures are all delicious. After all, if you’re a fan of lamb, then you know having it BBQ’d is one of the best ways to eat it.

One eatery knows and understands the value of good BBQ meat on skewers, and that is Lovin’ Lamb in Burwood.

They are an eatery that sells meat on skewers, and they do it well.

It’s a small shop on the main road of Burwood, and on the ‘Chinatown’ side. There are no seating inside, so this is a place where you order your BBQ meat to go.

They are known for their lamb skewers so we tried their Signature lamb skewers – $5 for $12.90.

From a pricing perspective, it is on par with other skewer eateries – Perhaps slightly more expensive BUT it is worth your dollaroos.

Lovin’ Lamb Burwood Menu and Pricing

P.S. This is a cash only eatery so come prepared.

It’s no surprise that our review has been very positive for Lovin Lamb Burwood. The lamb is freshly cooked right in front of your eyes. You can see the chief behind the BBQ grill reheating the skewers, and as such it’s all a fairly quick process.

You get to choose whether you want this with or without spice. If you have high spicy tolerance, we highly recommend opt-ing in for it, as it really makes a delicious difference.

The minute you sink your teeth into the skewers, you can feel how hot it is (temperature wise), and the lamb juiciness starts pouring into your mouth. The meat is cooked perfectly. There are also charred bits on the outside, producing the beautiful BBQ flavour and aroma.

The lamb skewers are also very well seasoned with every bite allowing you to taste the spicy cumin flavours. If you ordered the signature lamb skewers, then you’re in for a treat because there are pieces of lamb fat in it, and it is honestly drool-worthy (still thinking about it while writing this post).

The lamb fat with charred exteriors is absolute glory, so eat it while it’s hot – It’ll melt in your mouth, and you’ll be able to enjoy the full essence of the lamb. Don’t leave it to the end as the lamb fat will solidify and eating it cold is not a good idea.

Lovin’ Lamb Burwood may have limited options on their menu, but it is with good reason. Customers are always happy to go back because they nail their signature lamb skewer dish.

WOULD I COME BACK?
